Early Edison Reproducer - What is this?

Post by MikeB »

Hi -

This Edison reproducer came on a recently acquired Edison suitcase Home. The recessed front looks like an Automatic. The rear looks like a Model B. What is this? Sorry but I am not very familiar with these early reproducers.

Thanks - Mike

It also looks that someone changed the Diaphragm to a later Copper diaphragm as the the Copper diaphragm was not even available when this Reproducer came out..

That's a very typical Automatic, save for the copper diaphragm as mentioned. The weight is dirty but perfectly normal for an Automatic. The Model B was very clearly stamped as such on the weight itself.
