Hi all,
I see these are shown in and valued at between $100 to 150 in " Antique Phonograph Gadgets, Gizmos & Gimmicks" published in 1999. I would like to ask if anyone might be able to give me an updated valuation as I am interested in obtaining one for my C-19.
Thank you all most kindly,
Allen

Like anything, there is no set value. As stated in the book...prices listed are only a guide. Condition and completeness will also dictate price. I would just keep checking on Ebay (they turn up) and you may find one at a price you consider affordable.
If I wanted one....I would gladly pay $150 for one...

I was not expressing concern over the level of the price range but asking if the price range had change. Is the price range the same, higher etc. I did not know of the winders existence until I saw articles on it in the last year or so and only recently thought about buying one.
Thank you all kindly for any guidance,
Allen

A Pic of the object in question would help here....
I've never even heard of this object though I can guess that this is an "Automatic Winder"..

I have a wanted post on the Yankee Trader that is now on the first page and therefore easy to find. My post has at least a drawing of the winder supplied by PeterF. A picture also is in the book "Antique Phonograph Gadgets, gizmos & Gimmicks".

Re: Jones Motrola Winder
I have three or four back at home. All are working, but none have the winding shafts or mounting brackets. These are easy enough to fabricate, though.
I'd expect that a complete unit with bracket and winding shaft would easily sell for a couple hundred in the current market. A Motrola motor only should go for half that price, or a bit less.
