SOLD Electrophone cylinders were made in the 1980s by Dennis Valente and Peter Dilg, and were the first modern cylinder records to be marketed.
This is a very special rarity, with Thomas Edison himself recounting a long joke known as the "Liver Story."
It is the only cylinder "Picture Record" I have ever heard of. Made of clear hard plastic material, with a visible silhouette of Edison and his trademark signature, it is unbreakable and won't wear out. Made in 1985, this is now an antique in its own right!
Plays just as it did 34 years ago, loud and clear. I have seen these sell on eBay for over $100 in recent years. Complete with box, lid, and printed transcript of the recording.
$85 postpaid in the US. SOLD
