A Rash of Emails

Post by phonogfp »

A number of emails have recently been received on the APS web site asking "Where's my March 2019 copy of The Antique Phonograph?" One was miscarried by the USPS, but the others were "missing" because the individuals had forgotten to join for 2019!

If you've been wondering where your current issue might be, check your records to be sure you're on board for the coming year. You can join online in about 60 seconds:

George, I hope that you recover from your rash
real soon...

I got into some poison ivy one time, and boy did that
ever itch like crazy for about a week afterwards. 8-)

Some of the emails sent to the APS are enough to make a person break out in hives!

I can tell you I am so glad I kept up my membership. The Victor data article by Paul Edie was fantastic. I think i've read, and re read it a half dozen times. Always something new in it to take away. The other article on Victor numbering is another one to read and re read. Thank you to everyone that puts this together.

I agree - - the Victor articles by Paul Edie and Robert Baumbach that have appeared in the last two issues are outstanding. Lots of information nobody knew existed!

Wow - - the feedback on delivery of this issue was that it came in quite fast. If you're in the continental U.S. and haven't received it by April 1st, send a note via the "Contact Us" page on the web site and they'll send you a replacement. If you're outside the U.S., give it another month.

My copy made a speedy trip down to Alabama this time.

Very good issue !!!

Thanks and take care,

Glad to say I did not forget to join for this year. Not sure how one forgets to send in dues. Hmm Maybe I'm not old enough yet to forget such an important thing. Now utility bills I have forgotten but never something as important as my dues for the Antique Phonograph Society. Neil
