I found this a humorous clip which never made it into the final film.
The sound is very authentic apart from when the record repeat on side 2 is too slow.

Thanks! I never saw that before.
Nice cliffhanger for side two. After all "It's a 78."

That is not from Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein". Those actors are from the 1940s.

No, those are 1960s-70s actors. The lawyer played General Burkhalter on Hogan's Heroes and the small man next to him is the one who delivered the news to Gene Wilder that his grandfather had diedMarty Bufalini wrote:That is not from Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein". Those actors are from the 1940s.

Add to that the fact that in America of the 1940s, no swearwords were allowed in any film made for general release, but there are a few dead giveaways other than language that the film is solidly part of the 1970s comedy genre.colmike1 wrote:No, those are 1960s-70s actors. By the way, it was Richard Haydn ( https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0370821/?ref_=tt_cl_t8) who played Herr Falkstein the lawyer. Also See -- https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072431/ -- for full cast of Young Frankenstein.
