Here is a fairly disappointing phonograph...unless you are good at fixing them, which this one could be saved with a little bit of bookbinder's cloth & glue.
Motor is a General Industries from the old Garford-Elyria co. Tonearm is probably an E. Toman, as used in the Waters-Conley Phonola and 90% of other low-priced portables.
EDIT:
This disappointing phonograph could prove a good surprise, as parts from it go to salvage other originals.
Here are some pics.
I must say that the reproducer is junky and you will need new diaphragms & gaskets.

Re: FOR SALE:$25 or Free to Repairmen, underwhelming portabl
If anyone buys a cool portable at Wayne like a Berg-Artone or other one, remember the generic motor is going to be the same Garford-Elyria that is in this one.
So if you need parts, a gear, a whole motor, let me know! Prices will be dirt cheap.
It's currently on eBay right now, too.

I could use the motor to repair a machine for a local guy. His has some sentimental value to him. What do you need for the motor?
Thanks!

I'll take fifteen bucks. (Guess I better withdraw that eBay listing!)
