FOR SALE: L-Door Victrola VV-XVI C -- $749 OBO

Many years ago I pulled this out of an old house in Gloucester, Mass., where it had been since it was purchased new by the homeowner's grandparents. The motor has been cleaned and the reproducer rebuilt; it works perfectly, and plays loud and clear. It's really the nicest L-Door I've ever seen in person, and even has the original key and record brush. I was planning to post it on Ebay, but if someone can save me the trouble and the fees and can pick it up soon (it's spring cleaning time -- I need to clear space), I'm open to making a deal. My mistake! It's in Wiscasset, Maine. (I also posted on the Ebay board about a couple of machines I already have on there, and didn't bother to mention their location since it's listed on the auctions. Guess I forgot to do it here.) Thanks for the heads-up, John.
