Hello all

I'm listing a few machines for a friend. The first one is s very rare machine, an Edison Art Model. Done in a very beautiful Italian style. Machine comes with a Edisonic and regular reproducer. We feel this machine was polished up at one time and much of the chromatic paint isn't left. There is a repair on one of the stretchers. Machine plays and is a very rare machine. These were some of the most expensive Diamond Disc machines the company offered. They made them with electric motors initialy and would later at the factory convert to spring motors with a crank. This is a converted model with a very interesting and unique chain system that is utilized to crank the machine.

It's definitely one of the rarest...

Hard to gauge an actual market price on this one since there are so few... but you're probably in the neighborhood..

I believe that was 8 or 9 hundred in 1919. I've never seen one before in many years of collecting. I would guess total sales were in the dozens, not more.
