Rarely found circa 1916 Emerson 6-inch ARTIST PICTURE label record with original sleeve featuring:

#5124 "HANS NIX TELEPHONES SING SING (PRISON)" by Louis Mann (Humorous Monologue).

The record is in excellent condition and plays GREAT! And the original 6-inch Emerson Record sleeve is included with the following stamp over the Emerson Phonograph depicted on the sleeve: "THE MANUFACTURE OF THESE PHONOGRAPHS HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED".

The record begins with an announcement by Louis Mann: "THIS IS A STARK VIEW FROM THE TELEPHONE DAYS IN WHICH HANS NIX THE INSPECTOR OF TELEPHONES TELEPHONES THE WARDEN AT SING SING PRISON"
