I have no room for him, but this is right in my neck of the woods for what it's worth.

Glad to help! I have enough phonographs to enjoy at this point and wanted someone on the forum to grab it :)

Tarheel,
I can't thank you enough for posting the link to this. I am very excited to have such a fine machine. Thanks again!
I pick it up tomorrow and will post 'before' pictures as soon as I can.

Just picked it up, fellers! Drove from Louisville to Columbus and did the deal in a gas station parking lot. It's a very complete and original Home E that appears to have come out of an attic. The finish is a little blotchy but will restore well. Bedplate and striping excellent. Pot metal O with trowel weight will go to Mr. Medved to sing again. Horn has separated but not damaged. It will vacation at Mr. Gfell's. Crane, hanger rod, and spring still with it. Main shaft bearing is seized. About 30 BA's, many OBL. Some good titles, some so-so. One Margaret Keyes Concert BA, OBL.

Definitely worth $300 and a 7 hour round trip!

Will post pix when I can.

Nice John!

I've always liked the late model Homes!

Look forward to seeing pictures!

E Homes are great all-round 2/4 players and very attractive. The oak horn is gravy!
