Brunswick Sound Box Parts ID

I have a Brunswick Model 200 phonograph and am needing some parts identified. Behind the diaphragm there is a small round plate that is held in place with two screws. When this plate is removed, it exposes a round, curved piece of metal that appears to be a spring of some sort. Under this is what appears to be the remains of the original grease. What are these parts for. I take it they are meant to move since there is grease behind the latter mentioned piece.

Thanks for the link. The part I’m asking about was called a tension washer and a Bellevue washer. Perhaps it holds on the knob side of the reproducer and keeps tension on it?

The ring around the diaphragm on the lateral/Pathé part of the Ultona reproducer has to turn to accomodate the Pathé and lateral needle positions. You want it tight enough to stay in place for playing and loose enough to move easily. The circular spring and the plate covering it determine how stiff the turning of the ring will be by tightening or loosening the 2 screws that secure the plate over the circular spring.

I think I'm now on to something here. The tension washer enables the operator to turn the reproducer to adjust the needle angle, correct? If this is the case, that means that the pot metal on mine has swollen to the point of not allowing it to move. When I had the reproducer apart, the "knob" side of it held fast even though the screws, washer, and spring washer were completely removed.
