FOUND: FIBRE OR BRASS GOVERNOR DRIVE GEAR FOR OPERA

I am in need of the gear that drives the governor of an
Opera mech. The fibre gear typically goes bad and needs
to be replaced. A replacement gear can come from a parted
out Amberola B1, Amberola III or an Opera. If you have
this gear that you can part with, let me know. See photo

Ron does have them for the Opera.

I was able to repair the fiber gear and it has worked well for the last 25 plus years.

Seeing this makes me want to buy a fibre gear just to have as a spare!

This is a great idea . . . I need to try it. The creative ideas make
restoration the best part of this hobby. Thanks for the tip. Of course,
I ordered a brass gear just to have it on hand. It is not offered as fiber.
