Well done Alex---a rare find in such good condition. Certainly one to hang onto for a lifetime with that history. I'll let you know if I come across a crane and horn.

Thanks!, I am hoping to get a matching horn, I need one of those horns and a Cygnet for a fireside I've bought and need to somehow collect from down south, so might be able to sell or trade a machine for some horns, It is an attractive machine, even my girlfriend likes it!Valecnik wrote:kirtley2012 wrote: Bravo! Yes I think you can get by without a new spring. Beautiful looking Gem and with the dealer tag and history, quite a find. Definitely hold out for the matching maroon horn. It may take awhile but it will be a very impressive combination.Orchorsol wrote:That's a stunner Alex, and such wonderful local provenance, well done!emgcr wrote:Well done Alex---a rare find in such good condition. Cheers Andy!, yeah It's only the second phonograph I've ever found locally, by far the best!, I shouldn't be buying things in my current financial situation but I had to save this!
When I manage to get that fireside it should make a good combination
Cheers Graham, it's certainly something special, and very attractive, and thanks, much appreciated
