UK Granmophone forum

Post by estott »

To those of you who are members of the UK Gramophone Forum:

I've joined but I can not read any of the messages or post as I do not have the required "Special access" according to the message I see on every page I click on.

How do I go about getting the required clearance, and (more important) IS IT WORTH THE EFFORT?

FYI,estott. That forum was closed again.I was sent an email letting me know.It was just simply too much for the person running it to deal with as there was a small group that just continued to use it as a platform to air thier "issues".It's one thing to express a view on something (good or bad) but,to continue on or try to tie it into any thread unrelated was a bit much for him to try and delete day after day. Most unfortunate that ruins it for other that enjoy sharing and or learning from others.Like we do here on this forum.

There seems to be some misunderstanding about the status of the UK forum. It has not been shut down again but simply suspended pending the removal of some comments left by two members who will next be addressing each other in a public courtroom!

Until this time the forum will remain closed, presumably to allow time to ensure that the two members do not leave any more offensive remarks about each other.

So watch this space!
