What Model Edison Is This?

Post by Raphael »

A customer of mine has asked me to identify his Edison. I haven't seen one with this grille in Frow's book or elsewhere. Any ideas?

thanks,

Thank you, that was most helpful. I rarely ever have an Edison disk machine, and I am completely unfamiliar with tabletop machines such as this.

Yeah, The B-60, One of Edison's earliest Disc Machines (1912) almost looks phony since it looks more like a Competitor's machine more than an Edison. Pretty hard to find today and definitely not too common. It's also the only Edison Disc Machine I know that was made from the factory with no top cover...

These machines have ID tags usually located in back identifying the model along with the serial number

Yes, I realize that but with me in FL, my customer in NY, and the machine in storage in MA it was just simpler to ask here.
