Well, again, at the Wayne show there will be a selection of portables ready to wind up and start using immediately. One dealer has an entire table setup with beautifully cleaned up machines, everything from HMV 102s to Brunswicks to Orthophonics. That's just one dealer, there are of course many others who will have something. If I were new to all of this, the eBay route would be the very last thing I'd do, especially with a great show coming up nearby where one can examine and try out the machines for sale, for me, it's a no-brainer.

I’m definitely going to attend the show in NJ. I think that sounds like the best path right now.
