My in-laws showed me this VV-215 tha they've had for over 50 years. I'm wondering if this is the original color? My first impression was that someone refinished the exterior. The interior is the dark red mahogany I expect on a Victor. But it's almost good enough to be factory, no drips or smears along the edges. Is this the original color?
Thanks,

Re: VV-215 cabinet finish
It's been refinished but looks nice. You really want the outside and inside to match. Of course any finish will change over time due to environmental conditions. So sometimes the original finish on the outside isn't exactly like the original finish under the lid. Hope this helps. Jerry Blais
