Edison Porcelan Whiskey Bottle

Post by dutchman »

Been carrying this around for a long time. The bottle is porcelain made by McCormick Distilling Co., the head comes off to pour. Unfortunately it was empty when I purchased it. Wonder if one with a machine was ever produced. Cheers Bill K.

I was hoping to see a photo of Edison "decapitated." Just kidding. :D

Well, I suppose that proves how unpopular he is with current historians. The subject of his rivalry with Tesla truly was electrifying. But when the archivists get themselves all charged up, heads shall roll. Research has proven an intoxicating subject.

Another reason I love this board: our punny fellows. Thanks for giving me a laugh. You're great! Bill, could you please post one without the head, though?

Thanks for that! It would be even more fun if his head would fit over the lightbulb, but I'm just being macabre. As a kid, I used to hide my sister's Ken doll's head where she'd least expect it to pop up!
