Here is an 1894-1895 Berliner Record Nut, according to this link:

I tested it on my 1896-7 Berliner and it worked just fine.
I believe it is brass, because a magnet won’t stick to it.
Nickel plating is excellent with a few scratches as seen in the pics.
I installed old felt on the bottom.
I AM ASSUMING THAT THIS IS A REPRODUCTION, BECAUSE IT LOOKS TOO NEW,AND AM SELLING IT AS SUCH!
