It looks wonderful! It has the no16 sb and the old style motorboard and auto brake

Just to show that my ignorance knows no bounds, I thought that all of the first style HMV 102's had the eight metal, corner, re-enforcing, metal things.

Obviously not

None of the coloured 102 models had corner protectors, until the introduction of the 102E in 1948, which had the flush motor board. From then on, all models had them.

Me also... I never noticed that!
It simply seemed a good shape red 102 not expensive, and with the record tray. Additional nostalgic touch due to the old style motorboard.
