Seeking Phono Parts Source near Kansas City

I got a call from a fellow in Kansas City asking for phonograph parts. Apparently, he does a little phono repair work and is looking for a good local source for parts. Sounded like he wasn't too familiar with online resources. Anybody near there want to talk to him?

Yeah...I referred this guy to you. I offered to take a look at his motor. Rather, he had already taken it apart evidently, and was convinced he knew what parts he needed. Additionally, he wanted a repair in 48 hours, as he sells things. Based on what he was telling me, he was winding it up, started to display it to a potential buyer, and it made a loud noise and then the turntable would not turn. I gave him my best diagnosis based on our phone conversation, yet he was convinced that the issue was this gear that was chewed up. I told him that I would just package the motor up and ship it to you and allow you to go through it. He wanted it done within 48 hours.
So, whoever deals with this gentleman...good luck.

He sent me a picture of his motor, said the spindle gear came loose and slid down the spindle shaft and the resulting high speed unwinding destroyed the gear teeth on the spindle gear. I sent him another spindle gear. Haven't heard back from him yet.
