FOR SALE: Several items --Wayne delivery- various

Post by outune »

Hi All-- I'm heading to the Wayne show this weekend and have some items that have been sitting around for far too long. I'll give brief descriptions and add some pictures. Please don't hesitate to PM with questions or additional pictures.
To be fair to myself and others-- The word "Sold" takes precedence over requests for pictures or information seeking questions. Until they are 'sold' the items will be considered open to everyone. I'll list the items in two postings so I can add several pictures to each. Thanks- Brad Abell

1)Large Victor Black/Brass horn-- large horn- 29" high with 20 ½" bell- Great on a Vic V or other large machines. Decal a little faded- No major dents- Bell has some minor dents/bends. Body paint in good shape. Will clean up nicely $295 (Wayne delivery or pick-up only- no shipping)

2) Hawthorne & Sheble "Under Glass" Cylinder cabinet- **Please read- This cabinet apparently started out as an under glass cabinet. I've had the cabinet for many years-- When I traded for it, the oak top had been replaced by a piece of marble, but there was a crank hole on the side.

Using measurements and pictures from an identical under-glass cabinet that showed up at Wayne many years ago, I had a wood worker friend fabricate a top from quarter-sawn table leaves and make the top frame that holds the glass. That's as far as I got with the project. It can be used as-is to set a machine on-- or the top can be cut and a Machine fitted. As far as I can tell, it was set up to take an Edison Home, so the frame for the glass was made to accommodate the bedplate. The pulls are original to the cabinet and match the pulls on another H&S I have. Please feel free to ask questions- I'd love to see someone complete this project. Asking $850 (Wayne delivery or pick-up only- no shipping)

3) Small Victor Oak horn- smooth- This horn is a great size for a Victor 2, late Vic I, etc-- It is 20 ½" high and the bell is 18 ¼". It is in very nice condition-- At some point in it's life, someone put a thick clear coat on it-- It probably should be stripped, but that will be up to the new owner- it displays well as-is. Remnants of the original Victor decal can be seen. Tough size to find. Asking $925 (Will consider shipping)

4) Victor front-mount support arm- for large horn and extended tonearm. I am unsure what machine this is for. Overall length is 13 ¼". nickel plating is quite nice with one small area of pitting (see pics) $200 (will ship)

Thanks-
Brad Abell
