Hello all
I shipped an HMV gramophone to a friend in China. It was wrapped in half inch carpet padding foam, the motor was well cushioned, and double boxed. The Chinese postal authorities still found a way to break the frame. Anyone got a frame? Any leads/assistance appreciated.
Thanks
John Robles

I feel your pain. I shipped the same motor from Oregon to Idaho with the same results. I've since separated the heavy spring barrels from the frame when I ship that motor.

There's an early VV-XVI on Portland Craigslist with the motor you need. Jerry

George Vollema has the frame. Not cheap, but also not common so it is justified. Thanks!Jerry B. wrote:There's an early VV-XVI on Portland Craigslist with the motor you need. Jerry
