Good sources for record purchases

Post by srqwebguy »

Can anyone recommend good sources for purchasing older (acoustic?) 78's? I see some on eBay, but was wondering if there was a trustworthy online dealer I could look at.

Get on Darrell Lehman's email mailing list. He regularly sends out listings of 78s he is selling at fixed prices. His prices are reasonable, he knows how to pack records for shipment, and I have found him to be very fair and cordial. Email him at:

If you're in the UK, a good source is Mark Berresford - he has thousands of rare test pressings, rare european labels and suchlike.

Another good dealer I've met is the 78 source on the UK ebay site. The seller's entire stock is consistently E graded or higher - I've got some great Bix and Bowlly sides from him!
