Does an Edison Army-Navy machine exist in Navy gray?
I'm looking for a picture of an Edison Army-Navy machine in Navy gray. Frow says they were made in Navy blue, but I've been told that is a Frow error. But I've been told somewhere that they do exist in Navy gray, but are very rare. I can't find a pic on the Internet of one so painted. I have a worn example of an Army Navy that is so worn all the stenciling is gone. I'm thinking of restoring it in Navy gray if such a thing exists.

I heard the same thing myself. Being a Navy man, myself, I have an interest in this. I believe the color was Battleship Gray with black stencils. It would be interesting if one shows up.

Yes, Harvey, thanks, Battleship Gray would be the better name. Here's a machine from I think WWII in Battleship Gray. I think the Edison Army Navy would look good in this color, then I would have an example in both colors!
