Amberola X Spring Question

Post by CDBPDX »

I need to replace a spring on an Amberola X with the Gem type motor. The original spring is ⅞" wide, the replacement spring arrived and is only 13/16" wide. Doesn't seem like a good idea to replace with an undersized spring. Thoughts??

Thanks! Cliff
