New horns

Cleaning that brass will be a challenge. It could be used as-is until a less tarnished one comes along.

11 panel horn measures 30" x 22 ½ bell.

FYI - Ketchup left on for 5 minutes and then used a scotch-brite pad for 20 seconds. The acidity in the ketchup removed the tarnish and oxidation easily. Once a polish is done it should remove the light scratches and look quite nice.

Show the hanger on the flower horn.

The diamond-shaped hanger on the brass horn suggests either a pre-1901 Hawthorne & Sheble, or a Standard Metal Manufacturing Co. horn. It it's a Standard, it may have markings on the hanger.

That sounds like a good reason for not eating ketchup . Rather like Coca-Cola's ability to free stuck pistons in car engines, but drink the stuff? Never!
