Veteran's Day

Post by Phonofreak »

As we know 11 NOV 2019 is Veteran's Day. Yesterday, my VFW Post celebrated it's 100th adversary. It was founded on 08 NOV 1919. Remember to play your marches and patriotic records to commemorate this day. Also, thank the men and women who stood the watch and defended our freedoms that we enjoy today.

This site could use a thumbs up emoji for posts like this.

Thank you to all who served in the past, so that we can enjoy our hobbies freely today.

Today I played several marches and these records too:
Over There - Caruso
Over There - Billy Murray
National Airs of the Allies
Let Us Not Forget

I played the records on my VV 100, Amberola 75, and the Edison LU-37 (which I still wish to sell or trade)
Is there a young or new collector interested? There is a previous listing in the Yankee Trader section.

It is great way to observe Veterans Day.

Don't play this bad boy often but after seeing this topic just had to wind up my AB Macdonald..

Star's and Stripes still one of the best cylinders out there IMHO

Thanks to all the veteran's out there for their service.
