Jerry you really need to get those eyes checked. That cabinet is clearly winking John Lennon!Jerry B. wrote:With all due modesty, how could anyone top my Winking Jesus Record Cabinet?![]()

Well I can't compete with Winking Jesus (or John Lennon), but here are a couple of nice oak cabinets. One is a Columbia machine I bought many years ago. It is so nice looking I have never been able to let it go.
This one is an odd grandfather clock phonograph, but I have always liked the oak on the clock face.

It is a Ko-Hi-Ola from your home state of Minnesota made in Saint Paul. Very strange and an OK player though getting to the tone arm and reproducer is awkward so I have never rebuilt the reproducer and it needs it. Here is an image I found online from a 1916 magazine. It is the only ad for this brand I have ever seen and I am surprised it is that old. I would have suspected the 1920s. Here is the link that goes to the magazine.Valecnik wrote:Love that clock phono Dan! What brand?

"Jesus" Jerry, that's a Beautiful Cabinet!
Here is my Amberola-1A, A nicely tigered Victor D, and a "Not-Oak" XVI, ("Not-Sorry").
Cheers, Bob S.

I went thru my photo files and found a pic of a Beautiful Oak XVI which Jerry Blais sold a while ago.

Some beautiful Oak on display. Here are a couple of mine. Even the back side of the Oak 130 is nice.
