My copy of the December 2019 issue of The Antique Phonograph arrived today, and I wanted to thank everyone on this Forum who assisted me with the research I've conducted on the Edison Spring Motor/Triumph over the past 7 years.
On August 1, 2012, I posted a questionnaire here:

I was hoping that the data provided, coupled with the original sales data, would enable month & year dating such as is possible with all other Edison models from late 1896-May 1908. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, for reasons I can only speculate. Still, the field data provided by many generous Forum members has established a number of production benchmarks which are included in the article in the current issue.
Thanks again to all (including those who wished to remain anonymous), and please know that I continue to collect data on these machines, in hopes of narrowing down serial numbers still further.
