Swollen Diamond B Reproducer problem

I recently purchased a Diamond B reproducer on the forum that unfortunately had swollen. I say swollen since it wouldn't fit on my horizontal carriage and the threaded male retaining ring that holds the diaphragm in place falls right out. Does anyone know of a fix for the inner ring dilemma? I'm using a spring clip temporarily. I fixed the outer diameter problem buy reducing with sandpaper
