Nice machine. My first machine with an outside horn was one of these though it had been altered to play regular 78s with small hole. Also my horn had been painted. I sold it to Roger on facebook. I do have a Standard talking machine with large spindle now but an older one. Here is my old machine. It has a stamp on the bottom with year 1909 on it and some letters which were discussed on another post. Neil

GoCOOGS: You have the last of three different versions of this machine. I can tell from the position of the crank and the brake/speed control. The brake/speed cpntrol on your model is mounted on the top, not in the front. Although hard to read, I think the address on the decal is for Dearborn and Harrison Streets, not Monroe on the earlier versions. I've seen quite a few Columbia horns; I think yours is in pretty good shape.
