Possibly a movie prop? I'd love to at least see them in person!
If I could adapt them, would my BI Sterlings be able to hold them up?

Pair of 36" wide/41" deep horns!

I'm seriously intrigued by these ... somewhat serious in wanting to actually use them! Seller offered a huge discount, I've asked him for some more info and of course I'd have to get them shipped.
Somebody talk me out of this, quick!

My first thought was that they had been part of a Public Address system, but I have never seen a system that used flower horns.

Ha!
From seller:
"These are from Hollywood they are extenders for record player phonographs from the 19teens 1920s they were on large stands to amplify the sound they belong to a Hollywood movie guy but they are not props they are originals I would say the hole on the ends maybe an inch I’m not certain as it’s currently in storage"
Well, I still don't know what to make of them ... seem legit, as far as whatever "legit" could possibly mean
