SOLD: Edison 2/4 Min Standard Model B Phonograph - $195

Working Edison Standard Model B phonograph with 2/4 minute gear assembly. There is no reproducer, lid or horn. Original cabinet finish and 'Edison' decal are very nice on this. I have cranked this up and played several 2 minute and 4 minute cylinders with reproducers from other phonographs in my collection and it plays cylinders beautifully. The motor is strong, runs smooth and quiet and there is no flutter in playback of cylinders which I am very fussy about. The 2/4 minute gearing works great. There is no gear cover. There is a small and harmless drilled hole in the bottom left side molding. The original nickel plating is outstanding on the mandrel. If you're looking for a daily player for your 2 minute and 4 minute cylinders and you have a reproducer and horn, this would be an excellent playing phonograph for you.
