Happy New Year!

Post by WDC »

To all board members, a Happy New Year and welcome to the 20's!

Here's a new song that wraps it up pretty well:

Finally! For the first time in 20 years no more awkward names for the decade we're living in! :D

Happy New Year, but not yet a new decade. Call me old fashioned, but counting to ten begins with "1" not "0".

According to the prevailing opinion, the third decade of the century starts indeed with '21. Why I get the argument for that, I always found that debatable as especially with time, we don't begin to count with 1 but start with 0 instead. Just have a look at a 24h clock where the new day will start with 0:00, not 1:00. Another example would be a stopwatch, which also starts with a 0, not a 1.

But no matter how one sees it, the 20's start with 2020 and will end with their last year in 2029.
