Wanted: Harmony/Aretino Style Front Mount Reproducer

Post by Granby »

Happy New Year... I was wondering if anybody had any of these unique reproducers in their stash of parts laying around? It appears several of us are doing new year's clean-outs and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask...

The last one I saw on eBay went for $230. When Mr Smith was making them they were 75 bucks complete. I contacted the gent who bought out Smith and he SOLD what was already made but had no plans on making more reproduction. I have some originals on my players and have a source for the main bodies but would have to make the needle bars.

Thank you for the reply and for the information... I did have this "gut feeling" the correct reproducer was going to be quite expensive should I find it. I need to do some thinking on which route to go, pass this project on to another collector or invest the money... decision time. :?:
