Electric Diamond Disc Recording on Podcast

Post by Marc Hildebrant »

Group,

I have added a Edison Diamond Disc recording of "That's my Weakness Now" from 1928 . The record was electrically recorded and sounds pretty good. You can hear it as Number 17 on my Podcast. https://www.buzzsprout.com/676831

The Podcast is also available in other places under my Stage Name "Vic Trolla"

Very Nice Marc!!!! That is one of my favorite tunes. Hopefully I can find a clean copy on a Blue Amberol someday. Keep up the great work!!

Thanks for the kind comments. Although I have MP3 versions of the songs for the Podcast, they sound pretty good. By the way, I increased the MP3 setting for the electrical recorded Diamond Disc since the recording has a full range.

I'll be adding more as I have time. By the way Ken B., this was about the 10th time I worked on that song!

You did a great job of capturing a clean recording of a great tune. I will be visiting your podcast often.

Is a perfectionist ever satisfied with their work? Well worth the effort on this song.
