Victrola Gothic

Post by skere26 »

This Gothic is for sale today in Pittsburgh. This state sale person is asking 2400, but I’m sure she’ll be open to offers. If anyone’s truly interested I’m happy to pass along her phone number.

That seems a bit high to me, others may disagree... but a beautiful unusual machine

I don’t think that is high for that machine. Unless there are unseen problems with it, someone is going to be very happy. They are extremely rare and very unique. You are not likely to find another..

I guess I am comparing it to other very rare and unique machines of a similar size I have seen sit unsold at that price recently, like the very rare Louis in NH last year. The antique furniture market is depressed right now, but to the right phono collector in the right place... time will tell :)

Wow, what a beautiful machine and in my neck of the woods! Too expensive for my blood though. Do you have any more shots of it?

I was hoping to live vicariously through you on this one. I was also hoping this might force you to sell another changer. ;)

George,

Don’t laugh to hard, once I get to and get my ‘68 Pontiac GTO sold, I’ll be selling my spare VE 10-35, VE 9-54, & RAE 68 changer machines.
