Silvertone records----- collectable?

Starr and Gennett started out as vertical, though still needle records though, not sapphire ball type. Starr became Gennett.

Starr, and those early Gennett labels, yes vertical.

so how do I listen to them?

I have a york model Brunswick in the garage that needs fixing. Can i play them on the edison head of the reproducer? I assume a steel needle?
