It's interesting how manufacturers will produce an excellent product and when it's successful they will degrade it to increase profitability. That was true with the last Edison phonograph/radio combination C-4. Definitely not of the same caliber as the C-2

This is the 930. I bought this from Paul around 20 years ago. It has always been my favorite playing machine. It's tonal qualities are so warm and sublime. It's my wife's favorite machine too! It is currently undergoing a complete restoration on the amplifier. I have only heard one machine that out performs it and that is the Edison C-2.
Finest in music box and phonograph restorations for over 40 years

I owned this same machine about 25 years ago. Kolster made great sounding amps.
The only problem was the pot metal tone arm. Found a replacement but took awhile.
Still have a couple reproducers in case I find another.
