The YouTube video posted by fmblizz suggests the machining of this piece is not simple, requiring several steps. That is likely reflected in your asking price.

I certainly didn't mean to make it seem trivial but for a machinist working with soft brass I don't think its a big deal and certainly worth every bit of $10.00 each... Glad we got the right people together...
