Chinese crank phonograph with a transistor radio!

Post by 52089 »

I've never seen or heard of this odd duck before. It's a Chinese portable crank phonograph, but modern, playing 33 and 78, with a battery operated transistor AM radio. I want one!

Definitely shagadelic! And with that record it could do pest control.

Hmm second try at making a comment. Nifty. I certainly would buy it if I had seen it for sale. Wonderful to see. Great find. Neil

Sounds like the turntable runs a little fast. Chinese music isn't that badly done, generally. I get some of their music over the shortwave and it's OK sometimes. Not like that stuff in the video though--seriously, at least get a regular 78.
