VV-VI Question

Post by Nat »

A friend has just bought just bought a VV-VI that's going to need a lot of fixing up; it's not here yet, but I'm starting the parts search. Two inter-connected questions:

1) Are the doors inter-changeable with a VV-IV?

2) Is the back-bracket/taper arm assembly interchangeable with a VV-IV?

Thanks for any info!

No. The VV-IV is a smaller machine with smaller doors, smaller tonearm, etc.

Major parts from a IV will not transfer to a VI. The Victrola VI was made for many years so parts from an early VI will not transfer to a later VI. Jerry Blais

I have a back bracket for a VV-VI. Please send me a PM if you're interested.
