“Goin' Home” by the Eveready Hour Group - Shilkret 1927

Post by melvind »

At home stuck in the house with little to do I decided to record this record. It is a very nostalgic song which is an excerpt from Dvořák’s Symphony no. 9 - The New World. With all the thoughts about how the pandemic is causing mayhem across the world, I decided to dedicate this video to the victims of COVID-19. A little beauty in the midst of pain might be something that takes someone away from all of it for a few moments. Anyway, a nice 1927 recording that I really like and a stark reminder of what we are in the midst of.

How someone could try to deny this pandemic is a big deal worldwide is beyond me.
