Just be aware that while these pre-1963 sound files are public domain in the UK and EU, they are not public domain in the USA.

In the USA there are (nearly) no public domain sound recordings of any kind until 1/1/2022. At that point, all pre-1923 sound recordings enter the public domain. Google "Music Modernization Act" for more details and info about when later records go public.
