I'm curious - - what is a Berliner Model A?

I'm aware (I think) of a Canadian Berliner Model A, but that wouldn't have a New York decal.

George my understanding is it’s identical to the Canadian Model A. Here is a picture of one.

Okay - - that's a Berliner "Improved Gramophone," commonly known among collectors as the "Trademark" machine. They will all have a New York decal, unless one of the very few last examples sold by Berliner directly out of Philadelphia. (Those will have a celluloid plate instead of the decal.)

Good luck, Rich - -

I think the Canadian Berliner has dove tailed corners, like an old telephone box corners. Mine is just like the one you pictured,

No, that’s the Philadelphia label I’m looking for the New York label.
