Victor VV-XI

Post by mystangblue94 »

I am new to this forum and was wondering if any #2 soundbox will work with my 1919 Victor VV-XI? I currently don't have one and need one. Thanks

Any would work but I'd look for a nickel plated one. I'd suggest a "wanted" ad in our trader section. Be sure to read the guidelines. A nickel plated Victrola 2 should be an easy find. One with new gaskets would sound the best.

Thanks Jerry B. Now I know what to look for since I am new to the Talking Machine hobby. I really appreciate your help.

The no. 2 is the correct box for a 1919 VV-XI, to go with the "fat" tone arm ("taper tube" in Victorspeak).
