Farewell Mr Abner Hemingway 7" American Record Company 1905

Post by melvind »

This is a nice 7 inch American Record Company (Indian Record) recording by Collins and Harlan from 1905. This record is remarkably clear for such an old record. There is a scuff on the surface for a few seconds starting around 39 seconds, but the rest is nice and clear. The blue empedite really has held up well. I included images of several of the label variations for these blue records.

Does sound good.

American was one of the early labels to produce some double sided 10" records, several years before Victor and Columbia did.
