Phonospace (or, "Where's Waldo?)

I can't remember if I've ever shared any photos of my collection here, but since this is back to the top, I figured it's about time! I'm still at home with my parents, so unfortunately, my phonospace doubles as my bedroom, and with everything currently going on it serves as my home office too. It's been rather rough, because setting up a desk in my room has more or less cut off access to my early model VV-XI, my Edison C-200, and it's a lot harder to use the Edison Home! Thankfully, I still have easy access to the B-275, along with my Vic III as well as a few 2-minute only cylinder machines (their usefulness is limited however, with all my 2 minute cylinders sitting under the Home... )

A big thanks to everyone who has shared photos of their collections! I always love browsing through this thread.

I can’t imagine carrying all or most of those machines up two flights using the back stairs (even if the staircase is larger than many around here).

My "phonospace" is on the 3rd floor of our 1892 house (pictures posted on the 1st page of this thread), and I hear you. A friend and I carried everything up there 16 years ago, and it wiped us out. I will NOT be the one carrying all that stuff downstairs when the time comes!

I just try to fit what I can with the other furniture on the first floor, although that also includes a 7’ harpsichord.

Yes, that Home should look familiar! It has been there for a year now and I’m very happy to have it. Somehow(?) I got the two Credenzas in the dining room within about a 2-week period a few months ago and got the Philharmonic at about the same time. Now I have to decide what I can move out of here, but I haven’t decided which Credenza (or which ones) would be kept and what would go.

Julien - your collection is mind blowing! I've seen most of these machines in the Fab/Paul books but to see them displayed this way takes it to a whole new level. Thanks for sharing.

Well my collection is no where near as spectacular as some of the ones in this post. But I am in the “beginnings” phase still (I’ve been collecting for about 2 years ). Here’s some pictures of my collection.

It’s hard to take good photos of the B-250 cause it’s right next to the sliding glass door haha
