Re: Victor Monarch Deluxe Phonograph
The closest machine I have seen that compares to the Monarch Deluxe (other than the Columbia) is the German Odeon model. Although, in my opinion, the carving is vastly superior to the Victor model.

I posted a thread in the UK/European section when I first bought it. It was found outside of Sao Paulo and I had it shipped up here. To date, it's the only survivor of this top of the line model "Berlioz".

There is another thread that shows it in a German catalog...http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... 1&start=10
Here is the monster size motor and whole machine...

Bump* it’s been almost 2 years since this thread had a response... Has ANYONE ever found this machine? Or even seen it in others collections? Were the 14 inch records made for this machine?

I know of one and will try to post a photo within the year. It is not complete at this time. It was purchased years ago in Missouri. Stay tuned.

Re: Victor Monarch Deluxe Phonograph
I know of two — one in a Reno, Nevada collection that I saw myself in the 1980s, and another in the East. They were not made to play 14” records.
